Pros

Amazon has amazing benefits. I think the culture overall is not bad. The main issue is compensation. You need to have strong time management skills to get things done and understand that things MOVE REALLY fast. There is a lot of diversity and opportunities to grow. I loved working at Amazon.

Cons

Depending on the business line and team that you land, it could be BAD BAD or amazing. There is favoritism for sure and people get promoted based on that unless you move to a different team. Some managers dont want the good ones to leave so they wont promote them. There compensation and annual raises are terrible, you do not get a lot of base pay but do get a ton of stocks due to their compensation policy.
