Pros

Good pay, Good benefits Use to be really really awesome during the COVID years. Lots of growth, innovation and praised for hard work

Cons

Toxic work culture Poor work life balance Now, high favoritism, hyper focus on cost cutting and endless rows of bureaucracy. Amazon in 2025 is a ship without a leader. Amazon has never been behind, but now that it is, no one knows what to do. All senior management says to everyone is put your head down and work harder, stifling innovation.

Pros

The pay is excellent as an external hire and you can achieve work life balance with 4x10s as long as you don't care about promotions or your team.

Cons

The leadership is toxic and advancement is entirely based on internal politics. You do not learn anything, you do the same repetitive and menial tasks, and no one seems to care about the Associates you lead.
