Pros

Brand value Best place to understand the scale of doing business Amazing leadership principles (which sometimes get misused) Opportunity to work with some of the best minds in the industry

Cons

Leadership is not focusing on its employees while making decisions. There is no bold and brave commitment to take the company to newer heights. There is traits of 'Day 2' setting in, which JB had warned of.

Pros

Working with top tier talent on cutting edge AWS systems offers great experience.

Cons

The average tenure at Amazon is very low for engineers and with the current drive to downsize it is extremely difficult for those remaining, filled with stress and anxiety.

Pros

High competitive salary, High brand value

Cons

Stressful job, too much competition to survive. Always a pressure to get things done delivered faster and raising the level. There is always someone in the team who will be in PIP (Performance improvement Plan) based on leadership push.
