Pros

Amazon is always on the front end of technology. Lots of exciting things happening there across many different product lines. It's also easy to move around from team to team and position to position.

Cons

The company tends to overwork you! The company also considers 'frugality' a value - which translates into no perks. This is very disappointing and a drag on the culture.

Pros

Awesome company to work at. Very interesting work. Cutting edge on several levels, surrounded by several brilliant people! Also bring your dog to work!

Cons

Its a lot of work, be prepared to work. There are also not too many perks, but I am fine with that. I would just say its more about your work than its about anything else.

Pros

for those who can't get better places/companies

Cons

-- middle management is completely corrupted with politics -- managers will take the credit from your work and dump the discredits to you -- as big as Microsoft but no monopoly product in the market
