Pros

Great opportunities for go getters who are willing to put in a lot of energy. Can learn good practices, which will be useful beyond. Good for young folks.

Cons

You have to be a go getter. Don't expect much structure, or you might struggle. You may miss out on some industry standard terminology in certain roles. There's an "Amazon way".

Pros

Good pay, good benefits. You get to work with some of the smartest, most capable people, on the most interesting problems. There are almost unlimited opportunities within the company.

Cons

Demands are high, and the decentralized nature of the company mean that culture can vary from team to team.

Pros

Managerial roles' pay is good (however, if you consider the long hours you work the pay is not high at all) And you got great company brand names. Health insurance and 401 are just average package because the company is very stingy. Those are the only pros I can think of.

Cons

there is no pros for this company. Managers are loosely organized and don't care about their employee. Personal time and vacation are not flexible because they are so short of people and could not just let you go for time off. Its like working in the military because everyone are forced to obey the "company culture" which are very rigid and stupid disciplines
