Pros

Good benefits(health, dental, vision) Earned PTO & paid vacay 401(k) up to 2% employer match No experience needed to start

Cons

No accountability Treated like a number(easily replaceable) Company morale days that are scheduled hardly happen for night shift, & if they do and offer an "incentive" to participate, they don't follow thru with the incentive more than 3/4 of the time. It's all about the numbers for management and looking good- safety and burnout mean nothing until a safety incident occurs. Poor training for leadership roles- poor explanations on how to do your job- you're just expected to know. Advancing is based on popularity and pettiness- does all management like you? Have you said something to a member of management they don't like? Employees smoking weed in bathrooms and parking lots before, during and after shifts is a daily occurrence. Employees can leave when they want regardless of the time or what position they were assigned and don't have to inform anyone, often leaving their team without the needed support. Finding a replacement is made difficult by lack of support by management. 10 hours on your feet Poor work/life balance, especially if you have a family.
