Pros

- I cant really think of any. Amazon has gone so far downhill in the 10yrs i was there

Cons

- I havent gotten a raise in the last 3 cycles despite doing well in my reviews - 5 days RTO is lame - Focus is on AI and giving your executives what they want, not on innovation and delivering for customers

Pros

- Internal movement encouraged - Mentorship program - Stock options

Cons

- Job security - Small employee discount - Moving internally doesn't allow for a huge pay bump unless you're moving up a level - Minimal company-wide communication regarding layoffs, received a lot of company news via media instead of internal communications

Pros

sign on bonus and stock is crazy $$, benefits great but no point if you aren’t there long.

Cons

Too many to list-I worked here for over 3 years, folks don’t stick around long enough to- only stay until the sign on bonus ends and they are gone. They don’t care about your family. Zero work life balance, they don’t allow work from home and if you do ever get it approved by disability they will find something to fire you and you don’t get any promotions or raises. It’s a large company but some groups it runs like a small company- leadership refuses to change and very unprofessional. To much favoritism and I won’t go back here. I have seen so many layoffs after just creating a team - so it might say Amazon but you don’t mean anything to them. I have seen leaders talk about numbers as they aren’t people easy to say lay them off without verifying the data. I will never return -their performance based system doesn’t exist you get written up once and you are given a package - if you don’t take it and decide to stay on you only have a certain time to fix it after that if you are let go your package does down by like 70%. No second changes you must excel and work over 60+ hours per week as a salary employee
