Pros

Good pay, smart coworkers, and plenty of opportunities to learn and upskill

Cons

bureaucracy gets in your way to delivery work, no concept of work-life balance, projects and teams get shuffled which can be hard to navigate. "Ownership" can be used to hide management incompetence. Best advice is to find a supportive manager who can vouch for you and fights for your work.

Pros

Great learning environment for junior developers with supportive senior staff who genuinely care about mentoring. Flexible remote work policy implemented even before COVID. Small team means your work has real impact and visibility. Company provides latest development tools and equipment. Regular team lunches and genuinely friendly coworkers made the daily experience enjoyable.

Cons

Limited advancement opportunities due to flat organizational structure and slow company growth. Compensation falls behind market rates, especially after first year. Projects often lack clear requirements leading to frequent scope changes and deadline pressure. No formal performance review process makes it difficult to track career progress. Benefits package is basic compared to larger tech companies.
