Good place to work but not for so long.
Pros
* You can learn many things from Amazon for both careers and as well as for our personal also. * You can enjoy your work * No dress code * Very open level to higher position people. * Good work-life harmony. * You can gain good knowledge. * I'm working as a Quality service associate so for my role it is the best office time 8 am to 5 pm. * Saturday and Sunday off. If you come for work on holiday days you will be paid double for that with food but don't expect for this you won't be coming like that even though you wish, it is a very rare case.
Cons
* Promotion process is very slow, Even though you have 5 yrs of exp in Amazon until you prove your skill you will be working as an L2 associate. * If you been shuffled from one project to another project then don't except for promotion because it is a product based company so each product has a lot of things to learn. so even you have no of yrs experience, they only consider the tenueue resource for the promotion where they may have less than your work experience. Where we can't blame them and managers but it is the hard truth. * The growth in inside Amazon is very slow, so that is the reason people work here will gain the knowledge and leave the company without interest. *Early the retrospective meeting is arranged for the gap of every 6 months so it took much time for people promotions now it has been changed to every 3 months to get an update of the project and for promotion but it is not much effective. *You can get much disappointment with the team it is usual but when compared to other FIRM it is very very less.
