Pros

Can't think of any at the moment.

Cons

- CEO lives in an echo chamber and won't listen to reason - Their need to get profits up has pushed all great people out, leaving mostly terrible ones. - The good culture that some teams had before the pandemic is now destroyed. All that's left is the same crap you saw in AWS and FinTech. Everywhere. All the time.

Pros

Great place to learn, especially for junior or intermediate developers. Also, a good place for managers interested in mechanisms that make such a large company continue to innovate.

Cons

- High expectations, work never slows down - Everyone is constantly at competition with each other, as someone will be exited out of the company - Pace can be relentless, and so risk of burnout is high - A senior manager always has to play politics up, down and at the same level, which can be really draining - Career growth opportunities beyond Level 6 are practically non-existent.

Cons

Poor Leadership that doesn't invest in people development Abusive culture, managers yell at employees in meetings Realized Compensation is going to be less than what they present as TC Your experience depends on the team you are on but it's a hit or miss They change their word all the time. Promises made during hiring won't be kept Work/life balance
