Pros

-Good pay, lots of opportunities for overtime, great benefits -Cross-training allows for varied workday -Accessible HR, safety reps -Active workday, almost no downtime

Cons

-High-level management decisions almost always negatively impact your job -Might not always get trained in the job you want, if there is a lot of demand for your current department -Equipment needed to do your job might not always be available right away -Mandatory OT guaranteed during busy season; very little opportunity for time off during those days -Very strict time control: your rate is all. Operational issues in the warehouse means making rate will sometimes be out of your control. Management often unsympathetic to this. -Stressful days due to not hitting weekly rate targets -Almost invasive rate-measuring tools are in place. Your work is measured with almost robotic precision, little margin for error.
