Pros

The company culture depends on your team and org (which is always true for big companies), but Amazon is exceptionally good at cultivating its leadership principles. You'll grow and learn a lot from people around you. Writing a lot improves the way you think and structure your thoughts.

Cons

Sometimes feels a bit "too" big. As a TPM, you rely on either internal or external tech resources to execute your projects and deliver results. In operations, TPM work as Technical Product Managers. Without support in an already very resource constrained team, it's very difficult to build exceptional things - resulting in months building a product/dashboard that in the end may be subpar and difficult to measure success. It's challenging to be ambitious, entrepreneurial, and deliver actual results without wearing too many hats at the same time.
