Pros

You have the opportunity to make a big impact because you get a lot of responsibility quickly and you're working on products that are used my millions of people. You also get to work with extremely driven and talented people.

Cons

Work/life balance is difficult. At Amazon you're expected to put work above everything else. If you can't get everything done between 9 and 5, that's your problem, not Amazon's -- don't let the door hit you on the way out!
