Pros

-Smart coworkers -Good Pay -Good Career opportunities (provided you can endure the culture)

Cons

-Insane workload -Expect to work everyday, even from home -long and grueling hours (60 to 70 hour weeks) -Work Culture is brutal and cutthroat -Don't expect mentoring or training--culture is all about survival and self-promotion -Unexpectedly short-term thinking due to high volume of employee turnover. -Management culture expects micromanagement at all levels

Pros

Relatively early and large scale of responsibilities, leading to a very steep learning curve. Significant amount of freedom to experiment.

Cons

Terrible work life balance. Due to mandate of 10% headcount reduction every year constant and unhealthy pressure to prove yourself better than your peer. Far too many meetings bog down productive work. Close to zero investment in people development. HR as a horizontal wing is practically useless. There is a conflict of interest because people leaving can not be honest about their experiences. Massive experience of sycophancy and nepotism
