Not a good time

Pros

In Costa Rica full time blue badge employees receive private health insurance (with one of the best providers in the region). If you have the right manager or are in the right department you can receive good compensation and can grow your career if that is what you want.

Cons

There is so much to say here, but one of my biggest problems with the company was that during the initial interview process and subsequent training they insist that there are many growth opportunities. This is very misleading and eventually "getting ahead" doesn't necessarily depend on one's talents and skills but is often times a matter of who you know and also, if your manager wants to help you. Then, the constant micromanagement I experienced in the 7 years I worked there was confusing, I was consistently told that I was a reliable employee, yet, their actions didn't reflect those sentiments.
