Pros

Amazon's commitment to candidates as "customers" and their commitment to the recruiting process; doing it "right." Once you are "in the loop" it moves fast and their communication is on point!

Cons

The interview process can be rather lengthy - and now that I'm "in" I understand why, but to the interviewee, it is daunting and drawn out.

Pros

- Work with the best-of-the-best talent; the "Ivy League" of the corporate business world - Access to large, mature datasets to help define problems and plans - Bring a good plan based on data and logic, and you can start-up initiatives/programs - You can influence and improve the customer experience at-scale

Cons

- Precise writing using data to frame up the narrative will require much practice and patience, but you'll learn a valuable new skill - High demand for excellence, will lead to delivering to tight timelines, but senior management is open to flexibility in your work-life balance
