Pros

Days go by fast because you’ll always be busy. Surrounded by smart people, you’ll definitely learn here. Collaborative rather than cutthroat. Very good at allowing people to move across functions and try new things, which is great if you’re looking to change careers or get more breadth. Average time in each role anywhere from 2-4 years.

Cons

Senior management are not consistent - L8+ can be very disconnected in some parts of the business but caring and supportive in others. Results in progression being easier / harder depending on your team rather than your accomplishments. Promotion process is opaque and no opportunity to even see your own promo case. Opportunities narrow drastically above L6, so progression here hits a bottleneck.

Pros

Love the culture and opportunities

Cons

Promotions can sometimes be dependent on relocation to Seattle, despite the fact the roles can be done remotely.
