Pros

Focus on Customer brings out the best innovation. Fast paced for the size of the company , less processes f to bother about. New ideas and experiments.

Cons

As the company grew, the talent level started dwindling. The average of talent is abysmally low for its reputation. In a rush to hire , lots of IC's were promoted to middle management without any gauging their managements skills. Lot of managers were hired who are not accustomed with the 14 leadership principles of the company which are the pillars of success of amazon. There is no attempt to run a orientation for these managers to align themselves with the leadership principles. Candid feedbacks results in backlash instead of verifying the feedback.

Pros

I love the internal tools for software development and the knowledge you can get about distributed systems. Also, the culture is great, is really nice how the managers try to push you to meet your goals aligned to leadership principles. I really love work here.

Cons

As all huge companies, it's really difficult get attention from other people when you need help and is harder when you need information from external teams, people is always busy.
