Pros

You learn a lot, and its a great name to have on your resume. I've found that the job hunt has been made a lot easier having worked for AWS

Cons

Not a very social company in my experience. And the company does demand a lot of you both mentally and in meausurable output.

Pros

Amazon offers exposure to large-scale distributed systems, high-traffic production environments, and modern cloud technologies, especially through its strong connection to AWS. Engineers often gain valuable experience in system design, scalability, and operational excellence, which are highly regarded in the industry. Compensation and benefits are generally competitive, and the company’s size allows opportunities to move between teams and work on diverse products. However, there are also drawbacks.

Cons

. Work-life balance can vary widely, and some engineers report that the performance review system and emphasis on measurable output create stress
