Pros

Great team to work with. Smart people, most overachievers. Challenging work. Impactful deliverables.

Cons

Senior Leadership cares more about achieving their goals than about the people. A lot of randomization because of Amazon's internal processes. Lack of clarity from leadership and often poor decision making with regards to converging on a solution. Overtime is the norm and not rewarded adequately. The company is not as Agile as it thinks it is. It tries to adopt from the Agile methodologies but every team does things the way they want without a common practice adopted across organisations.

Pros

Good pay. Great learning opportunities. Unique problems to tackle. Scale at altogether different level. Fast paced environment, It's a crash course of whichever stream one is in.

Cons

Very stressful environment. If your manager/leadership isn't supportive then your growth is stagnated. It's kind of a heartless company and nothing can come in front of targets and metrics to meet. But it all dep nds upon the team one is in, there are many great teams as well. It's "promotion driven development" environment and people work on and or even choose projects which would help them get promoted. People will interact with you after having a look at your "level" and you may not get a response quickly if your level is lesser than the other party. It's not everybody's cup of tea.
