Pros

good salary and benefits. lots of learning opportunities

Cons

There's too much politics, it's a gamble when you join Amazon. You are in heaven if you get a good team with a defined charter and a supporting manager. Each team/org is different, and your L7+ will play their games to get themselves promoted without thinking about anyone else in the team.

Pros

Salary range is higher than other companies

Cons

There is no work-life balance. You are required to work overtime. The company culture is very toxic. 'Optics' of the work is more valued than the 'quality' and 'impact' of the work.
