Pros

Amazon is a great place to be. No matter what you love to do, there is a job somewhere in Amazon that will allow you to do it. Amazon makes effort in investing in its employees only secondary to their customers.

Cons

Amazon isn't for everybody. High standards don't come easy. Do your research and negotiate. Once you get in, there are so many places you can go, but that negotiation isn't possible after being internal, and recruiting isn't able to, or willing to tell you what you can do to make yourself more value to the business.
