Huge, but agile

Pros

It feels like there are lots of different startups under one big company, so in daily work you have lot's of flexibility, but at the same time you have benefits of big company. Different teams tries to help each other and you can ask for help almost anyone. This couldn't work without same ideology - and in Amazon ideology build on "Amazon Leadership Principles" which unites all. Company gives a lot of effort to help you with almost anything, and speaking of most customer-centric company - employees is also customers, in some way.

Cons

Not every piece of Amazon is flexible. In hiring process there are lot's of bureaucracy, but they REALLY try to help you with anything. The whole process of hiring with relocation took me 6 month and this is fast one.

Great team, awesome compensation, you'll definitely have something to do, this is the real definition of "Fast Paced learning environment".

Cons

Could become overwhelming at first, benefits / vacation is good, but could be better.

Pros

My interview experience and initial onboarding have generally been excellent! The Embark plan has been a highlight and is clearly particularly well thought out. The Amazon offices are really top draw and are a great working environment. Amazons peculiar culture is a definite pro and there's incredible scope to grow your career here.

Cons

I'm still somewhat unclear on what my day to day role and job will look like over the next 6-12 months. There's a bit of a steep learning curve to overcome and it's not always clear how best to proceed.
