Pros
The benefits are good. The office setup is decent.
Cons
The work-life balance is consistently overlooked by leadership, with little respect for personal time. Many projects lack structure and vision, leading to wasted efforts and setting employees up for failure due to unclear expectations. The culture fosters unhealthy competition under the guise of leadership principles, where colleagues are pitted against each other. Decision-making is driven by fear, especially under the "Are Right, A Lot" principle, and meetings often feel like battles rather than productive exchanges. Reporting toxic or abusive leadership to HR rarely results in action, allowing the issues to persist. Overall, for anyone not deeply ingrained in the Amazonian culture, it’s a miserable and frustrating workplace.
