Pros

1. There's no limit to what you can learn. 2. Nobody is really over your shoulder (must be accountable though). 3. Always something new to challenge. 4. Despite a minimum amount of rules, there's still a goal you must align yourself with. Usually, this is the org's focus.

Cons

You are never really not working. So far, I spend a good amount of time outside of work think about how much better things could be at work. There's just so much stuff to do at times.
