      - All the employees are driven and motivated to succeed - Collaborative work environment - Helpful management team - Good pay and incentive structure, decent benefits - Able to work from home

      Cons

      - Can get pulled in many different directions based on changing priorities - Takes time to see changes implemented at scale - Competitive for promotions

      Pros

      You can learn a lot at Amazon and AWS. Very focused on moving things forward, not overly political at the L6 level and there is a lot of structure and resources if you look for them. Very focused on the customer above all else (incl employees).

      Cons

      High attrition for tech, PIP quotas. Very tactical role in many ways. Comp is hard to understand and is dependent upon the stock price more than elsewhere. It hasn't been good for me 2021-2023. There is a fiscal cliff in year 5.

      Pros

      I've found AWS to be challenging but fun. The onboarding experience was extremely professional and very well organised. The company as a whole has a strong focus on diversity and inclusion and really live what they preach.

      Cons

      There's a lot to learn but you'll be well supported.. just give it time.
