Pros

Work was interesting, got to work with a lot of smart people.

Cons

My starting salary was very bad, but I was hired in March 2020, and all the other offers I had were rescinded, so I didn't really have much of a choice. Since then, Amazon did a poor job with compensating me. Eventually I transitioned to a SDE L4 (I was not hired at that position, but rather as Systems Analyst.) and was paid the minimum amount an engineer at that position could be paid, and not given any raises while I worked that position.
