      Pros

      Competitive salary with stock options. Exposition to interesting projects.

      Cons

      A lot of unnecessary projects that get buried after a year just causing clutter. There are hot periods like the annual review where you have to step up your game by exceeding the amount of working hrs per day to stay ahead of your competitors (colleagues). Lots of office politics.

      Amazon employs some of the best and brightest in the industry. If you're looking to learn (or think you can teach) this is an incredible opportunity. The projects are challenging, fast and engaging. You will never be bored. Bring your A game and be ready to never stop learning.

      Cons

      There is an unlimited amount of work to do. The temptation is that you try and do it all - you can't. It's up to you to prioritize your work/life balance and no one is going to do that for you. If you're not able to stand up for yourself, this may not be the place for you.
