Pros

Working in AWS open doors to work in better companies

Cons

Harassment No training received Low salaries, low increase due to inflation Not learning, almost every process is done automatically, you are not here to think. No progression in your career Overtime not paid No matter how good you are, you only need to follow the principles to have a good performance.

Pros

Onbarding process with AWS is very structured than my previous employer. AWS actually has a tool called Embark that walks you through various training modules to help you learn the culture, processes and etc. It gives you a good start to start learning about the company and job role.

Cons

Embark could further improve in the area of focusing on your specific job role. There should be more modules teaching a new hire about required skills to learn, capacity training and infrastructure data center knowledge.
