      Pros

      The Phoenix campus is pretty laid back compared to the New York campus. Most people are pretty friendly and teamwork is pretty solid.

      Cons

      The benefits and salary are not that great. There is also a challenge if your senior management is in the New York office of getting your work recognized.

      Pros

      Management at all levels is extremely respectful of employees and each other. Voices are never raised. Everyone has a seat at the table and an opportunity to contribute, no matter what their level. Amex encourages staff to move from group to group so that you have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business. This is a great place to work!

      Cons

      Absolutely the only downside I can think of is that it's a long, cold walk from the subway during winter. For those who take the ferry, it's a short, cold walk.

      Pros

      Excellent compensation, job recognition, benefits, pay raises. American Express values it's employee's and understands a company's success begins with happy employee's, and retaining it's customers.

      Cons

      Career development and advancement needs to extend into other areas, if one area for advancement isn't obtainable or available. Advancement should not be up to just one manager. Development and advancement should be taken very seriously and the employee's manager should help the employee to the best of their ability.
