-Some very few talented contributors try to make a difference. -Occasional exposure to interesting technical challenges. (mostly based on old technology, not much innovation happening). -Higher-level roles are mostly filled by external hires.

Cons

-Toxic environment, poor support from management, and lack of growth opportunities. -Poor handling of transitions; declining morale. -Raises and recognition are rare and often politically driven. -Outdated work culture: politics, fear-based leadership, micro-management, and limited innovation.
