Good people, good intentions, generous Cisco benefits

Cons

So many senior employees have left in last year, it was just too sad to be a “survivor!” Cisco culture is not fit everyone.

- Can be tough to get promoted depending on timing/availability (same at any company) - Had a lot of turnover with leadership while I was there

Pros

Used to be an excellent company to work for with leading tech. Cisco still seems to be pumping money into the company. Previously excellent, proven, sales process which continues to be used as a model at other companies - however, this is being eroded by new leadership.

Cons

Declined rapidly over the last 12 months. - Lost lots of talent - Weak leadership (old leaders leave and new leaders are put in place by Cisco) - No longer leading tech - huge tech debt which has consumed years of dev time, with little to show for it. - Missed the boat on monitoring the cloud - playing catch up since. - Toxic/lazy staff retained at the expense of hard workers.
