Pros

Some good Managers like Sudeept Maharana , Amit Chauhan , Nandan Shah , Rajul Jain who actually care about growth and development of employees and not indulge in politics and keep the same rules for all weather it is a manager or a Consultant or even a intern.

Cons

Earlier Appirio Used to hire employees via Topcoder SRM's followed by interviews which were really fun and challenging which eventually yielded good employees but there was one problem with that certain candidates could not clear the first round itself even after knowing the questions so they decided to scrap this and instead hire form campus drives and employee referrals which can be termed as scam of decade in 10 years of history of appirio. If a person at junior level refers someone his referral will not we considered and if a manager refers someone no matter how dumb or idiot that person is he/she will be selected. I have come across ACT's who don't know how to write apex class or even know how to create a workflow or write a simple SOQL query and the best part is even after having UTE of less then 30% they get promoted. Another big problem is HR they are the most mean and selfish people you would come across on this planet they will try to snatch every bit of penny and perks from employees and bend the rules for their team and enjoy. Couples : This is another problem as there are many couples in this company who are more into reporting into each other rather than their work. Chances are if you are a couple and are in same team you would end up in meeting rooms with your partners with lights off and enjoying your work there. IJP: All IJP here are fixed and posted to get a selected candidate in another team. Mangers post IJP when they want to take a candidate in their team and take interviews of all the applicants and select candidate of their choice and there is no transparency in IJP interviews a manager won't even give honest feedbacks after the interview.

Dear Alumnus, Thanks for sharing a detailed feedback. Appirio has a very open and transparent culture and that is driven into most of the decisions and policies including Hiring, Internal Job Movements, Benefits and employee engagement, as some of those highlighted by you. There are various platforms made available to employees to chat with the management team and ask questions and express concerns openly. If they ever felt there have been instances where there has been lack of transparency, we strongly encourage them to use these platforms and talk about it openly with the management team. We really appreciate your feedback and would love to talk in more detail with you. Hence, would encourage you to please reach out to me at purvi.mathur@appirio. com and we can further chat.

Pros

Appirio can be an amazing place to work. Coworkers can become like family, the work/life balance is awesome, and people are generally paid in line with industry standards. Depending on the team, you'll work with brilliant people and do a lot of great things.

Cons

The CMO is a nightmare. She is socially inappropriate and has less marketing experience than most of the people below her. Creates problems in marketing and sales and leads to a lot of anxious longtime employees.
