Pros

Work/life balance. Work hard/play hard culture. Lots of collaboration opportunities as well as autonomy. You are treated like an adult and given the freedom to do your job. Lots of *Great* tools, truly a cloud company where you can work from anywhere.

Cons

Consultants are leaving in droves. The Wipro culture continues to seep in and the "do more with less" mindset has taken its toll. Wipro's culture of attrition and then just piling work on those who are left caused projects to fail. Much of Wipro feels like the 1960s where men can be condescending and adversarial towards women. Expense system is cumbersome and severely outdated.

Pros

- Good salary and good bonus structure - Incredible flexibility to work from home or anywhere in the world with little to no notice at all. This is probably the best the company has to offer. - Interesting projects, some could be really boring. - Company phone

Cons

- Lots of travelling. It's not impossible for someone to be 4+ weeks on site with customers, meaning weekly flights Monday to Thursday. - On top of that, you are expected to bend backwards to please customers and meet deadlines, which translates to crazy working hours. - Most people work from home so the office is like a ghost town. You won't feel that you are part of a team. - Very random promotions and career progression is a black box. - If you are in consulting, you'll work with a team of developers in India. Quality of dev work can be excellent or incredibly poor. Most developers can't properly communicate or articulate problems. - Because the development team is in India, you'll find yourself waking up very early to be able to catch up with their work, yet you'll have to meet the onshore people late in the afternoon = crazy long hours. - I found myself working 14 hours a day on multiple occasions and this had a bad impact on my mental and physical health.
