Pros

Respect, being surrounded my motivated people, everyone is willing to talk to you, get to work on really impactful projects.

Cons

People don’t have much patience and are some are stuck up about their work, you have to have thick skin to be a project manager, very hierarchical

Pros

-Great company values -Flexible work management - my specific team encourages us to figure out how together the job done on our own without micromanagement or strict process to follow -Friendly environment - you can always ask a question (even stupid ones) and someone will always be there to help and answer

Cons

-Can be long hours depend on project. My team is understaffed so everyone have to carry multiple projects -Weird culture when working with a specific team -A lot of middle management in certain orgs that does not add any value but creates more work because they are only half there

Pros

You will get a brand name

Cons

Being a Engineering project manager you will just act as office admin. The old lots who joined 15-20yrs back the company & have no idea where the industry has moved on will sit and do politics.
