      Great place for work, wish it to be better

      Pros

      - The people, working with motivated and smart people. - The work, the projects, the scope and effect - The respect. Different backgrounds, what matters is how long you've been at Apple and what you've done inside the company.

      Cons

      - Offices are uninspiring and look like a dental office - Constraints in open source code or going to meetup events - Serious corporate environment with very little play. People hardly know each other, locked up in their lockdown. - Still a satellite office, less oppertunities than US and many stay in Paris for just a year and then move on to the US. - Many team members work well into the night in the EU timezone to meet with US colleagues. - Remote work is difficult or in some ORGs impossible to get.

      Pros

      Incredible meetings of minds, great facilities, open-minded workspace, people truly care and are devoted to their work. Incredible collaboration and reliable teammates. Kind, friendly, warm, approachable, teammates who become your family. People don't feel the need to prove themselves - just want to help the team and product.

      Cons

      12-13 hour days, pay for lunch (~$13), incredibly demanding level of perfection demanded. Hard to enjoy life outside of work when there is so much pressure and people depending on you for excellence.
