Pros

Work with stellar and deadly dedicated people on amazing products. Learn what it is that makes Apple different. Frequent opportunities to move to the project you like. Receive broad and career changing visibility if you are able to do something great. Forget longish and back breaking analysis work. It is acting by the seat of your pants that gets the job done in time and if you've really got the vibes, Apple is the place to be. Enjoy good food and cool beer bashes.

Cons

With too many superstar, it's difficult to shine and sparkle. Everyone strives to get a rare chunk of management's attention, always. Coworkers are wisely behaving nice as only teamwork keeps you in the loop, which is so essential for survival at Apple. But don't be foolish. Everyone has her secret personal agenda. Your boss will most likely be an accidentially promoted engineer, not a manager. Good ideas are always welcome, but don't act surprised when yours are put down at first and later get presented by somebody else than you, in a meeting where you are not invited. Be prepared to fight for your family life and against burn out, everyday. Expectations and pressure can be almost unbearably high. On a day where you decide to not work at night, everybody else on your team will and you will learn next morning that you have been blocking at least half of them.

Pros

Apple is a company that continuously pushes the envelope. It is a lot of fun to work for a company that produces such innovative products. I have worked on many development projects, and get to see my products used by many millions of people. It is really wonderful to be out walking around and see something that you've built in people's hands. The CEO is a very charismatic leader, and is able to whip crowds into a frenzy. Our product release have been compared to Hollywood premieres! I've been at events where I've been able to meet stars that I would never normally see. I get to work with some of the nicest, most creative people on earth.

Cons

Work-life balance is non-existent. You must give your all for the company. Many people end up divorced when working at Apple. Want a vacation? Sorry, not now. Not ever. Apple thinks of employees as "disposable". They burn people out, and discard their empty shells.

Pros

Good benefits but nothing that most other tech company doesn’t provide.

Cons

It is only now a year later when I have time to think of an ideal review but I still can’t find the words to how awful and brutal AppleCare is to work for. They have their staff brainwashed into thinking it’s normal that every second of every trip to the toilet is measured. You have a certain average call handling time that you must keep under. But don’t be too good at your job - because if it’s too low then that’s not good either. (There’s also 13 more of these metrics). You have set breaks and lunches. 2 breaks and 1 lunch. The break is 15 mins and you cannot be late back. You can barely butter a slice of toast or get a cup of tea. A manager once pointed out to me that “looking back we can see that you’re taking an extra 10 seconds on all of your breaks the last week. Can you explain yourself?!” Getting time off is like getting blood from a stone. Extremely difficult. I requested some time off once as I had to look after elderly and very old grandfather and I was bombarded and harassed with questions. You’re also not allowed to be sick more than twice in the year. I could go on listing everything that’s wrong here and it’s complete slavery. If you love being handcuffed to your desk and tortured every single day, then be my guest and apply. In hindsight would rather go on welfare than go back there. I could go on all day talking about horror stories and Amazon warehouses do not have a patch on this. But I would beg anyone for their own sake not to join AppleCare. If you value any of your sanity do not do it. Avoid at all costs and don’t be fooled by the flashy Apple name or brand!
