Pros

-generally nice and helpful teammates -better than average salary for Vegas -easy to transfer internally, both laterally, plus upward, as they promote a lot from within.

Cons

** truly horrible work-life balance - NPI/ new product launch members are expected to throw your body under the train when necessary, even with faulty planning , Design and subcontractor errors. -end of quarter pushes have 6 (or more) days/wk, 10-12 (or more) hours / day manditory -the Business overloads the factory capacity, and the work gets done over the bodies of the mfg, QC and Warehouse shipping personnel and supervisors. -every month or two you get a new "Program de Jour". -key positions are heavily understaffed, though corporation has honestly been trying to fix some MIA positions; but too little / too slowly/ too late. -way too many meetings. -corporation is very siloed, meaning parallel groups don't know what each other is up to, with very poor communication. -Design Engineering has not had their feet held to the fire enough for bad designs, especially Australia Design. -execs in Australia make key program and personnel decisions for local Ops. Other depts may be different, your mileage may vary. But Mfg, QA, Purchasing, Warehouse, Shipping. Recvng, NPI Eng, and Facilities will be extremely pushed and overworked.

Pros

1. Makes you innovate everyday. 2. Platform to nurture your skills. 3. Employee Development / Learning / Certifications. 4. Best in class and up to date, tools and technologies being used to attain best Quality in everything. 5. Proper Career framework in place. 6. Best in class employee engagement activities, outings, sporting events, etc. 7. Great Work life balance. 8. Door to Door cab service. Metro shuttle. 9. ILT(Indian Leadership team) 10. Medical Insurances, Free Health Check Up. 11. Subsidized food , just Rs.20 a plate. 12. Educational Trip to Macau. What else do you need

Cons

1. Not all divisions/departments have the energy of resources channelized appropriately. Employees in few departments are just being paid to come to office. It's not employee's fault but inefficiency in leadership of such teams. 2. Work Life balance is misinterpreted/ miss-practiced by few employees as come late, leave early and get good compensation. 3. Few team leads and managers are really poor at communication, can't converse well, don't let their team know about the vision at all, they don't lead, rather they can't lead but have been put upon this position to mange people who report to them. 4. Less travel opportunities.

Very Well Run Company with Fixable Issues

Pros

I recently started working here, and so far everything from interview process to on-boarding and orientation has been phenomenal. It is as well-oiled a machine as you can expect given the complexities of a company its size. The compensation is extremely competitive and the benefits start day 1 (health/401K/FSA/etc.). It is not a micromanaged environment, and generally you are able to move at your own pace (especially if you're accustomed to moving at a faster pace than everyone else). The long term employees are extremely helpful with sharing their institutional knowledge with you.

Cons

Some growing pains that are easily solvable. The biggest con is the time zone difference between Las Vegas and Australia, but there are strategies around it. Some other issues are that the company is growing, and with that come growing pains (outgrowing offices, new building migration, etc.).
