- Very interesting work - Company actually cares about the people - Great culture with real values (courage, integrity, respect, passion) that aren't just corporate BS - Encourages high achievement but still provides fantastic work-life balance - People who deliver are recognized and rewarded for their efforts - Truly global company, with opportunities across the globe (Australia, US, Asia, India) - Great and very talented people (business, creative, tech) - Top execs are genuinely accessible to all employees - Good career options

Cons

Some of the business systems (like the HR systems) are a bit archaic and need to be fixed, but this is a minor annoyance, unless you work in HR I guess. Some processes are more complicated then they need to be (booking travel, purchasing approvals) but in fairness some of this stuff is getting better.

Pros

Aristocrat has turned a corner over the past few years and there has been a significant focus & investment in People & Cultural initiatives. The environment is vibrant, dynamic and fast-paced. What I enjoy is having the opportunity to put your hands up to get involved in projects/initiatives that are outside of your day-to-day remit of your role/function. This provides significant opportunities for career development & cross-functional collaboration. It is a very friendly environment with a lot of talented people who really enjoy and care about what they do. Bonus structure is pretty good. Aristocrat has a diverse culture.

Cons

People who are not comfortable with an ever changing environment will not be best suited here. The location is a challenge with traffic congestion becoming more & more of an issue. Aristocrat will need to implement a formalised flexible working policy if it is to attract & retain key talent. Salaries for difficult skill sets may need to be reviewed due to limitations we have with location & perception of the industry.
