Cons

Nontechnical managers with absolutely no direction. My work day was from 4 AM to 6 PM to cover all time zones and work in a multinational collaborative team environment. I am technically very savvy and have numerous certifications, but the cackling socialites are the ones advancing. Stress, gossip, and high anxiety all day, every day. HR is useless. Did I mention all the nontechnical managers and principal architects? (at least the one I was working with)

Decent managers if you’re lucky enough to have one. Most are terrible though and really have no clue on managing people, much less a business.

Cons

Management is awful. Work/life balance is questionable.
