      Pros

      Good working enviroment, competitive salaries, challenging place of work in every area, satisfied reward package, good oportunity for personal developement

      Cons

      the life work balence can suffer a lot of change (improvement), salaries should be calculated relating to market performance (profit) not related to geografical placement (e.g. East Europe);

      Great Learning opportunity but eventually frustrating

      Pros

      * As a new joiner, you get great hands on exposure to the job through training and other on the job opportunities * Good processes and systems * Good job security; at least used to be when I was there. Lots of tolerance for poor performers and a reluctance to take adverse decisions on people * Good progression if you manage your perception and visibility * Good benefits

      Cons

      * Lots of politics and managing upwards. Careers, ratings and promotions are decided based on who is your "sponsor" and your "visibility" as opposed to your competence, capability or performance * No work / life balance. Not because there is any work (actually there isn't any) but because you are expected to stay long hours to create your visibility * Lots of incompetent and ego driven senior managers * Lack of ethical standards in quite a few businesses * Tobacco industry * Stagnant culture in the recent years with lots of good people leaving the organisation
