Pros
Diverse workforce with employees from a variety of countries. Bilingual environment (English and Japanese). Variety of ages in the office. Above average pay. Opportunities for global mobility for some.
Cons
Some managers are stuck in their old fashioned ways - saying things like "when I was your age, I worked in the office from 6am - Midnight everyday" (after I brought up workload concerns). I had a team member who started treating me poorly after learning I was younger than her - she pushed me to leave the company. I realized she wanted my role and later ended up taking it. Excessive and unnecessary meetings and powerpoints.
