      Pros

      The flexibility was great. The people are great as well, and there is a family feel to the offices.

      Cons

      The company is growing more quickly than they can sustain, and it doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon. This has created an abundance of work and long hours for employees across the firm. Communication is also a bit siloed.

      Pros

      Good learning experience, really good clients from pre ipo to public. BDO claims to be the best for working parents, not true experience.

      Cons

      Mandatory 55 min hours during busy season. A lot of driving during traffic hours. No overtime pay.

      Pros

      I work with some really intelligent, motivated people. We earn TOIL which is a massive plus point over the Big 4 accountancy firms. I feel as though I have learnt a lot about business since joining the firm.

      Cons

      I work with some really stupid people, who don't really care about my well being, they just want the huge amount of work done. The merit rating system is rubbish, and if anything is demotivating because it is so hard for people to recognise when you have gone the extra mile.
