Pros

Great colleagues to work with

Cons

Your soul is literally sold to the firm from the moment you sign the employment contract because; (1) you are bonded for 1.5 years (the price to terminate the bond is 3 month of your basic salary; (2) you will be the owner of a brand new "laptop" and for your information, you are bonded to the laptop for 3 years; (3) the absolute puny bond allowance is purely a gimmick to sweeten the employment contract. The respective team's management has no sense of leadership in providing direction and motivation to the floor. Sexism is dreadfully apparent in the eyes of everyone but the lack of corrective action by the management somehow or rather indicates that they support the humiliating work culture. You will be shamed in front of your colleagues and torn into pieces by the highest level of profanities and sarcastic remarks by the management. Staffs are squeezed down to the very last drop of energy left knowing that they cannot surrender as they are bonded and any possibility of breaking the bond will provide another stream of income to the firm. In a nutshell, think twice (and twice more) before you pen down your acceptance signature despite the weak job market.

Pros

Good Culture, Lots of growing opportunities, Free food and soft drinks, It depends on the type of person to get along with the employees

Cons

Training was lacking a lot, way too many expectations when you first start, the team members I had weren't really social so there were many awkward moments. Overall when it came to getting the job done, there could've been more training to help with that. There is also a lot of micro-managing which tends to get stressful with someone always asking you what you are doing. Also, you get paid monthly and no 401k match.

Pros

The company is expanding rapidly and it's easy to be hired compared to Big 4's. Brand name. As soon as on boarding is completed Indian employees are able to work with the US counterparts.

Cons

Not a pay leader as the management claims, typically pay 30 to 40 less than Big 4's and other smaller offshoring entities. Poor quality work is outsourced to India and most of the high value work is retained in the US. Big promises are made while hiring people from Big 4's, in terms on increment and bonus, however every appraisal employees are reminded that they were already hired at an increased salary from their previous employer and if an employee joins from Big 4 they might feel they have seen an increased package but it will soon get normalized and they will fall behind shortly afterwards. Poor IT infrastructure with really cheap laptops provided and employees are mostly forced to work on virtual machines which have several issues of their own. Work flow management is poor, in a month certain days employees will be expected to work 14 plus hours and then within the same week employees will be unassigned the entire day.
