Expectation of you to go above and beyond in your role for basically minimum wage. Very catty and cliquey PA’s who have been there for a long time who end up managing you and think that they are in a high up position. The business support function treats the PA’s like they are still in school, micromanaging. There is no real progression for PA staff, they have something called the BVA which you have to essentially write coursework for to be a senior PA however you are still in the same role with no added progression.
