Pros

* More down to earth (connected) people than Big4 * Relatively good work-life balance * Low emphasis on hierarchy / short lines between junior staff and management * Secondary benefits are quite good

Cons

* Too much focus on relative position compared to Big4 * (Historical) focus on SME companies can be an issue, for one, it's tough to get in the market for larger, long-term client engagements in the Advisory business

Pros

Parter and seniors are very supportive when I first enter the firm. I got to do all kinds of projects, sometimes rather difficult ones in the first year, however there is always someone helping me when I got stuck.

Cons

Smaller than the big 4 of course. Requires to work overtime in the tax busy season as most of the accounting firms do. Typical public accounting firm.
