The medical plan is pretty decent, so are the pto and holidays. Besides that, everything else is down the drain.

Cons

Putting it lightly, professionalism does not even exist. A lot of politics and back stabbing. Managers who are incompetent and hold work till the last minute. The word communication does not even exist. Managers talk in such an aggressive tone as if they are your mortal enemies. The management does not care about these things as long as the clients are still there. Promotion only exist if you threaten to leave

Pros

Overall, executive leadership had a strong vision for the firm and made a point of communicating major news or policies to the employees.

Cons

Department head was erratic and temperamental. Significant turnover led to being part of a team that was never quite whole, always in the process of training and/or letting someone go. Constant sniping between senior partners created a challenging work environment. Firm does high-quality work for its clients, but ultimately, interpersonal issues amongst staff/partners, etc. caused me to leave the firm. Additionally, work/life balance was nonexistent and compensation was quite low compared to competitors.

Not too much control by senior management as they don't really know what's going on so you have a lot more freedom than the big 4. Nice canteen

Cons

Unfair dismissals common - staff that have spent 10years there "advised to see a lawyer" and escorted out of building!! Not a meritocracy - newer members of the team overlooked constantly Poor rewards compared to the big4 Less interesting projects than the big4 Rude and agressive middle managers HR and IT internal capabilities the worst I have seen anywhere, HR can't calculate Tax and loses key and confidentials documents as a matter of routine, IT especially the "ebusiness" team can't deliver projects Less intelligent staff than the big4
