Worst Management I've ever seen

Pros

Flexibility on working hours (could arrive between 7h30-9h)

Cons

In the interview, they lure you talking about career projection. However, when your appraisal comes, they search for anything to blame you for not receiving any bonus or raise (even if what happened was clearly the responsibility of the managers). They don't take responsibility for anything. They make fake promises and when it comes down to actually doing something, they say you misunderstood what they said. If you ask for them to start writing down those sort of things to avoid any future "misunderstanding", they refuse and say you have to trust them. If you disagree with them on anything, even if it's in the most respectful and professional way possible, they make your life a living hell. I have never seen such terrible management. And this was in ALL levels of the company, not only for the directs relationships. So you're thinking, why don't you talk with HR about this? Well, the HR couldn't care less and are practically inaccessible. They don't reply your emails or phone calls, and if you're brave enough to try to talk in person with them without an appointment, they will say you have to deal with your manager directly. In the beginning, you think it's only you, but after some time you end up finding out that at least 90% of the staff is extremely unsatisfied and the only reason they don't quit, is because they have to pay the bills and sadly, there are no other opportunities in Portugal. And of course, take advantage of that by treating everybody as replaceable as it gets. For those who start as trainees, is even worst. They lure you with an attractive salary for an intern (especially because most internships in Portugal don't pay anything at all), but when you are """promoted""", the money you receive is even less. And forget about getting a raise. Even if you stay for years there, their answer is: "you should feel lucky you're not unemployed" - literally.

Pros

Decent benefits, global bank, stable work environment

Cons

Absolutely lacking in systems, lack of process and system standardization across regions leads to huge time dedicated towards reconciling, employee mobility program seems geared towards French nationals; poor performance incentives
