Pros

- Good WLB - Good working environment - Work can be interesting at times if you are in the right department

Cons

- If you are planning to do the Graduate Programme, just know that you will remain an analyst for 5 years until you leave. - Increment does not even match to inflation rates. - 0 Growth opportunities after/during programme (2 years). The only thing you will get is a certificate of completion. - HR is a BIG issue in the organisation.

Pros

Extremely difficult to get fired. Good amount of vacation.

Cons

My experience at BNP was disappointing, largely due to poor management and a lack of accountability. My manager was constantly micromanaging, which hindered my ability to work efficiently. Time was wasted in endless, pointless meetings, leaving little room for real productivity. Even worse, many colleagues who contributed little or no work were never held accountable. Despite their incompetence, some were even promoted, which created a demotivating atmosphere for those who were putting in real effort.

Pros

Excellent benefits that compensate for salary not being as competitive. Opportunity will based on the team you are on and how that team is being managed. There is potential for excellent work and opportunity, but you must know how to navigate that with its corporate culture. Internal mobility is helpful but you need to network to facilitate that and make the transition work.

Cons

Salary is not competitive; you have to navigate your career by yourself, but if you end up on the wrong team, you are left with minimal opportunity and essentially work with what is left or move on. Some teams are not very diverse and can leave you at a disadvantage in being successful.
