Focus on minutiae Over-value of French Employees Devalue of American employees An employee needs to remain in their role two years before moving internally, so if you sense say after 6 months of joining that the role is not a good fit, you may have to make the decision to leave the organization at that time when maybe you could have found another role internally (if policy had permitted). A policy like this leads to high turn over and employee dissatisfaction (because you know you have to leave or give 2 years worth of your life......)
